Interested in Production Lead position and make a significant impact on our client's food manufacturing operations.
As a seasoned leader in the food industry, you will oversee production activities, ensure product quality and safety standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate production activities in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Train, mentor, and provide guidance to production staff, including machine operators, packers, and sanitation workers, to optimize performance and productivity.
Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may affect efficiency or product quality.
Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to address production-related issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate production records, including production logs, batch records, and inventory reports, to track production output, raw material usage, and product yields.
Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe work environment for all employees, and actively promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
Participate in production meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback to the production team.
Qualifications or Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and FDA guidelines.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve production targets.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
Develops and recommends corporate operations policy within the Operations and Production Department.
Develops specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.
